Media outreach for models and musicians

Outreach is the disciplined part of publicity. Someone reads the story, chooses who it is for, writes the pitch, and follows up once. Then the editor decides.

What the campaign actually does

  • Read the materials and say whether there is a pitch worth sending.
  • Pick the formats that fit: feature, interview, review, or digital press.
  • Build a short list of desks from the story, not from a generic blast.
  • Check names, credits, dates, and rights before anything is submitted.
  • Send the pitches and log the response: no reply, pass, question, or yes.

A useful list is small. Twenty relevant editors beat two hundred strangers. The music pitch guide shows the shape of a note a music editor can use. Model outreach follows the same discipline with a different story, described in media placements for models.

Review before submission

Every campaign is checked before it goes out. The story has to be specific. The assets have to be shareable. The claims have to be true. If a pitch would embarrass the subject or waste an editor, it does not send. That pause is the work, not a delay in front of the work.

What this does not include

We do not rent a media database and spray one email. We do not pretend a personal relationship we do not have. We do not promise that a reply will be a placement. Outreach is a process with a record. The record includes silence.
